Is it possible to zoom in and out when the camera is in the clear case?

Yes, if you use right back lid. There are two lid types for this casing - a rigid one and a flexible "touch compatible" lid.

Great thanks. I imagine the soft touch one can't go in water. If so how do you zoom in water.

The case with a soft back door can go into water, but has much less resistance to the water pressure, so the diving depth is very much limited with few upper meters from the surface only (I don't remeber exactly, but it was something like 4 meters depth or something).

Edit: Waterproof Depth up to 3m / 10 ft.

Yes I saw that when I found the cover. I took off the first cover and put on this cover instead. I noticed that the zoom is not as sensitive as if you would touch the back of the screen on the camera. I guess it's a matter of practicing with it. Thank you very much for your help.
