    Under V1.20 I see 16:9 and 4:3, but nothing like SV, per se.

    Maybe .18, which was/is a beta (for all intents an purposes, if not in name). But definitely not in .20, which AFAIK, is a production release. V1.21r2 (is there an r3 or later?) is no end of buggy. At least for me.

    ADDED: I stepped through all of the resolution options. Nada.

    Hmmm... I have a "road trip" coming up later today. I guess I'll see what r2 does with 4K. [email protected] crashed too often.

    ??? I am perplexed. I scrolled through .20 looking for SV's and came up empty. They are certainly there now. Baffled is the least of it. ???

    so.. i just got two replys from 'SJCAM.US' on youtube where i asked about the release date of the sj8 pro . 'some time after the Chinese New Year holiday....' and 'maybe still 2 months....'

    i dont know how serious i/we should take that but since this is a puplic comment, i thought a share here could interesst someone


    and i have to say again, i really hope that the sj8 pro will be a good camera with a superview mode like gp.. if only there were a way to be beta tester or something..

    please dont mess this up, this is a huge benefit and probably the reason/selling point for some to buy gp cams. even if they do not care about the costumer, just about money.. (3th party batteries blocked after release, bulky way overpriced external mic adapter, login/ gps needed for app to get user data..etc)

    As of email with SJCam yesterday, I doubt the camera will be released that quickly. I'll be very happy to find out otherwise, of course. Take an SJ7 on your vacation and upgrade later.

    Yes Sj7 Star will be a safe bet, only problem i had with mine are due to weather ( no 2017 summer and a lot of work for a person my age and health helping family and friends ) is that i have not gotten the chance to use it as much as i would have liked to.
