With the FW version 1.2.9 it is not possible to change the profile (vivid, flat) in the video mode.
It is greyed out in the menu here.
It is possible to change it in the photo and video lapse mode.
This is a workaround to change it also for the video mode, as the profile stays when changing the mode.

This is probably the same as in 1.2.8. Turn off stabilization/distortion correction and then you should be able to change colour mode - after changing you can turn on stabilization/distortion correction.

    Why SJCAM robs buyers?))
There are no scenes in the camera, there are no effects, although the SDK provides these settings, they are in firmware the camera, but the developers are lazy people, idlers, you need to dismiss them!
What we have at the moment, a filthy picture and a filthy blurry picture in stabilization.

    Nduro and Kaliningrad like this.

IMNSHO editing and using SFX in a camera is like typing while wearing boxing gloves and chopsticks. It can be done but it's a lot of bother for not very good results. There are any number of external editors that give much better results. Shotcut is freeware.
Bad pictures can't be fixed. Except to move to someone else's camera. Or use something like MOD4.2
