Thanks Tony, The link you posted is to login and edit the post, corrected link is https://poshgadgets.wordpress.com/2017/11/27/sj7-star-v1-20-firmware-upgrade-changelog/ How does this differ from v1.9 as the change log looks the same?
Hello Dear TonySosa! What is file SJCAM_SJ7_STAR-V1.20_20171127_1729.elf in firmware updatу SJ7 v1.20?
The .elf file is used with a utility on a Windows PC to flash the firmware to the SJ7 over the USB I've only needed to use the .elf file once when my camera was bricked and wouldn't load the firmware off the card.
Hello. 1.20 have many bugs. Video recording is limited to a file size of 4 gigabytes exfat file system. When shooting video in motion, the image trembles, twitches and is very greased. Perhaps it is because of the simultaneous use of correction and stabilization?
I think I've already answered this but When shooting continuously for more than about 14 minutes, the firmware closes the current video and opens another file. The file name comes from the time of day when the file was created. The file length is typically 3.9 GB. A 128 GB SD be formatted under exFAT. Lens correction can be turned on and off by the user. Without seeing a sample video it's difficult to assess what the problems really are.
