    Hi all!

Sorry for disturbing, but I have a little problem with my SJ7 STAR - my micro HDMI port is not working as well.
I connected cam to TV via HDMI cable and HDMI - micro HDMI adapter ( http://kazandigital.ru/site_shop/fi...o_hdmi_male_to_hdmi_female_adapter_1_1000.jpg ). Enabled TV Out on Cam and there is no any video on TV. Cam is not disabling own monitor and working as always.

This is a firmware problem? Firmware is supporting streaming via HDMI at all?
Or, probaly, broken adapter HDMI - micro HDMI?

    Firmware version is 1.13

    Thank you.

In addition, sometimes, when I'm connecting some cable to my cam (micro HDMI or mini USB) my cam is stops working. Display is working, but there is no any reaction at pressing on buttons. Only unplugging battery is helping.

Have you tried a different hdmi cable (preferably without adapters and converters) and port? Did you select the correct input hdmi channel on your TV?

Yes, of course. Today I purchased new cable HDMI-micro HDMI.
Same problem. Both TVs are not even detecting at connecting. I tried on different TV HDMI ports.

In addition, when I'm connecting or stiring connect cable on on cam - cam display, on short moment, is showing ripped image.

Hmm, then I'm not sure. I don't know whether the PAL/NTSC setting (50/60 Hz) has an influence on the hdmi output, but it's maybe worth a try. Otherwise it's a faulty hdmi chip or firmware issue?

Rechecked with 1.15 Firmware - same problem. Not tested with Old Firmwares yet. In addition, at 1.15 release option TV Out option is not present at device settings. Only FPV instead it.
I will recheck on PAL/NTSC and let you know about results. But, I think, this is hardware problem, unfortunately.

Well, good news - I found a problem.
It's firmware. With Enabled TV Out - there is not any screen via HDMI. With Disabled TV Out - Everything is working.
At this moment on TV on my workdspace.
I will recheck later on my home TVs again.

Thanks for sharing! Maybe post your findings in the firmware topic, or directly to the support team, so that they can work on a fix for this?

    HELLO!!!!

This is old but can you please share some info on how you achieved TV output? I'm having same problem with my SJ7 and SJ6 and I'm not getting much help on the forums or through support. I'm just trying to get this thing to do TV playback before I throw it in the trash

TV Mode: NTSC (tried pal...made no difference)
    Firmware 1.20
Light mode: 50 hz (tried 60 in combination with NTSC and PAL...no difference)
    1080p/60 frames resolution

Plugging micro hdmi cable into LG 4k smart television....nothing happens

    And yes it's a genuine SJ7 and SJ6

I've tried the older firmwares (all the way back to 1.13 for SJ7) and nothing is making a difference

Tried 3 different micro hdmi cables (AND TWO TVs) and the cables work with my GOPro Hero 6 flawlessly.

Maybe it's the televisions I'm using? I don't know then....

Both TV's were LG's if that matters.

Do you just plug it in and get a signal? Or is there another step?

My SJ6 (brand new out the box; bought both cams at same time) has the same issue so I'm wondering if it's the televisions but they are new as well. (4k smart televisions)

I was able to get the SJ7 to work finally on a different TV. Still no luck with my SJ6 but the SJ7 I got to work; it doesn't like LG smart 4k TV's apparently.
