sj7 star and app problems

    I connected my camera to my iphone. Seemed to go well. But after the screen on the iphone shut down the app was non responsive and would require me to close the app and reconnect. Some times it would work ok and sometimes it wouldn't.
    With the old app and my sj4000 I would just wake the phone up and hit record. With the sj7 the button was there to start or stop recording but it wouldn't change anything. I would have to close the app and re open it. Very frustrating while trying to video and kayak at the same time
    Day two the screen on the app view was garbled lack of a better word.

    I tried to look at both films and photos from the app and was unable to do either. It said I must download to device. I tapped confirm and nothing.

    Phone and camera work fine seperate and the sj7 took great videos but the app to me was useless.

    Iphone 6s current iOS
    sj7 star 1.15 firmaware

    You may try to reinstall the app, by the way, which one are you using, SJCAM Zone?
    Might be best to let technical support know about this by creating a ticket at support.sjcamhd.com, so you can also monitor the progress.

    yes it was the sj cam zone app
