This might help regarding the Sj6 image clarity issue.I'm still testing it but i have better results on the image way much better that what we expect on the settings we commonly used. Set WDR: OFF Set FOV to NARROW (this eliminates the "Zoom" effect of the GYRO when it is set to high that causes the image quality to turn out like there is no Sharpness at all and it amplifies the NOISE in the image. Gyro: HIGH Resolution: Any Bit Rate: High Sharpness:Normal EV: 0 or 1/3 (it depend on scene) Metering: Average Distortion Correction: ON File Format: MP4 or MOV Comments and Suggestion are greatly appreciated for improvements. Thanks Screen Shots. The Mp4 720x60 you can change it to 1080,2k or 4k MOV or MP4 depend on what you need.Thank 720x60 MP4 shoot was just experimental Just incase photo attached cant be viewed Click link https://www.facebook.com/redsonics/posts/1486453354706420
@NicSanico thanks for this information. I have just ordered a SJ6. I'm not a "photographer" or very familiar with all the settings that affect the final picture quality, and this is a great start for me. Still a LOT of reading to do. LOL RodeoGeorge
Hello sir, i meet a problem when improving my image clarity and frame rate. I turned my 360p video into 1080p with these 2 software http://www.videoconverterfactory.com/tips/improve-video-quality.html and https://www.videograbber.net/convert-video-60fps.html as you can see from the link, it says is able to increase resolution and frame rate. I do as it but i see no difference between the output video and the original one. I wonder whether it is true you can force the resolution of one certain video up to 1080 if it was not, or force to boost up frame rate from 29 to 30? How is that possible?
Hi I'm also new owner and user of SJ6 Legend and i'm little confused with the settings. Please share your experience settings with cam. I normally use 1080p*60fps, WDR - ON , FOV - Wide, GYRO - High, Metering - average, But i'm not happy with this cam as compare to other like Procous and many more.
Hi @George Strickroth It might also be of great help to you if you read the downloadable manual, pretty certain there's plenty you can learn from it. Find your camera model here: http://support.sjcamhd.com/support/solutions/folders/9000083040
The problem with the unsharped video start from gyro sensor. If you try to rec a video without gyro you will see that it has big difference in sharpness.
Hello ! I just got a SJ 6 legend, and I wonder when is necessary to use the function "GYRO". For car mode? when making kind of interview videos? when walking with camera? Please, share your experiences
