:(:( I am new to this community and have read several threads that address the issue of being able to record a continuous video file to this camera. I have tried everything. When using WiFi to record the camera always records and splits the recording into 1 minute intervals files. (Most of my recordings are short, ie less than 6 minutes) The real problem I'm having is when I import the multiple clips into my video editor(Pinnacle Studio V19) and drag them into the timeline- there is a time gap at the end of each file which throws the synchronization off. I have the latest firmware V1.7. Using a SanDisk Ultra 32 gb micro SD card to record on. Tried formatting the card FAT32 and exFAT. Tried using AC power supply during the recording instead of battery. This problem did not exist during the first year of using the camera so I'm really puzzled.

Any tips by the pro's in this community are appreciated!!

This sounds like your memory card has deteriorated. They will not last forever. I have seen several card deterioration issues, some are fixable by good repair utility, some are not. Try another card!

I just tried another Sandisk micro SD card and the problem still exists... Should I try another BRAND card?

No, then there ise something else.
Maybe you activated loop recording or there is some other simple reason.

Loop recording is turned off. So maybe I have a bum camera?

I have never found the model of my camera on or listed in the camera menu. I did see “Sportcam 8” listed though. Maybe it’s not a real sj4000
