Maybe if it finally run out of power.

I dont have the manual or anything, but the reset button are often in a very little hole so you have to press it with a paper clips or something like that.

I got to think how do one update firmware on the gimbal, i think i saw somewhere there was a new firmware for it.

yes i saw the new firmware but i tried connecting it on my laptop but the laptop is not seeing it was just saying i should check d gimbal that is not communicating with the laptop so i have checked the gimbal there is no small hole anywhere to do a reset thing or what so ever but why is this happening the admin should have created a kind of reset and i believe they should have known that this type of problem will occur in type of gimbal it is just not making sense to me there are other gimbals that the battery is the open type not this

I was thinking though its out on a limb, but maybe your charger are not 2 A ? not that i can see that as being a issue as it is after all just charging so i would assume any rate would be okay.
Perhaps try another charger when the thing have gone dark and you are ready to try again, on the other hand if the charger come with the camera it should be good to go.

Lets hope this was just a unfortunate initial hiccup from the gimbal.

let see but i will be happy that sjcam can do a kind of upgrade on the gimbal to make the battery compactment and opened one for this kind of troubles you can imagine if someone need to quickly use the gimbal for an urgent production and this happens which means nothing can be done till after 24hrs which to me doesnt make sense

Create a support ticket in regards to the problem. If you have a warranty issue, you're on record as having problems prior to making a warranty claim.

2A doesn't really matter except the initial part of the recharging process will be slower, or the charger may warm up during trying to meet the initial in-rush. If, however, the battery is only partially discharged, the current will be well below 2A. Batteries draw as much current as they need and no more.

Bottom line: any USB charger will work.

Now I have your same problem. My gimbal turned on and I was able to update and calibrate although it was not more than 6 seconds on with my camera sj6 legend was turned off.

Now I put it to charge the red LED flashes but it does not pass that state for more time than it leaves charging and it has not returned the green LED has been pressed by pressing the power button.

I think it's a problem with the batteries, I've searched for a solution over the internet and nothing, I've left it for 2 days without charging to see if the batteries were uncharged and did not charge.

The batteries might be discharged too deep and so will not take charge this is normal with any lipo battery, any of you guys have a chance of measuring what voltages are on the gimbal

There should be a charge/discharge protection unit either in the gimbal or on the batteries them self.

    Hi,
i have the sj7 Star and the SJ Gimbal.
my question for an optimal recording is:

when i use the cam with the gimbal,
should the gyro stabilization be on or off
    in the camera options ?

Personally I’d have it Switched off. You’ll gain a little bit of field of view as when it’s on it cuts into the image. You’ll need to practice walking with it though and keep your movements fluid.

    Hello,

Is there any helmet/body mount for this gimbal, as Gopro have for their Karma Grip?

    Thanks.

There’s nothing official, or unofficial that I’m aware of.
