@sjcam_admin During very long shots, some part of the process of switching from one video file to the next has a bug in it.

When I shoot video for more than 15-20 minutes, the results are broken up into files that are up to about 3.7 Gb. No problem there. The video splices back together without a problem. There's no gap between the last frame of file 1 and the first frame of file 2. But... this is a gap in the audio. The audio for the last frame in a file is not there. In playback, there's a click in the audio track. In Shotcut, KDEnlive, and Resolve editors, the missing audio is easy to see. Removing the frame with the missing audio removes the audio click, but there's a visual "click" because of the missing frame.

    Hi @RBEmerson ,

Nice catch. Although you forgot to mention what firmware version you are running it.
Please create a ticket, then message me the ticket number and I'll follow it up.

    Best Regards,
    SJCAM_Admin

Good point about the FW rev.s - this problem has been present since V1.15.

Here's screen grab from the end of a file shot with V1.15. The cursor is set on the next to last frame (at fourteen minutes : thirty three seconds: frame 51- it can't move to the position after the last frame - frame 52). To the right of the cursor is where the rest of the audio should be. (The blocky audio "waveform" isn't a problem. It's just how Shotcut shows audio when zoomed all the way in on the video track)

I started the camera, looking at my screen's screensaver light show, and recording music from the speakers. Things, under V1.19 beta 23Nov17, have gotten worse. There are now two frames of audio missing at the end of each file.

Also, instead of a new file every 13-14 minutes, there was a new file every 3 minutes. Why is that happening?

Y'know, that occurred to me after I posted last night. Thanks for reminding me to change the camera setting.

Turning off looping, and recording 13-14 minute files, cleared up the missing audio. But the problem's still there when looping.

In shooting the 25 minutes of video for the temperature test, there was a file turnover at 3.9G as always. Checking the files, the one frame audio dropout was back.

While shooting the 1.15/1.20 comparison, some reason the camera went to 1080p @ 120 fps. The point here is, at 120 fps, the dropout is still present. It lasts for about 10 frames (+/-1). At 60 fps I've seen 1 and 2 frame dropouts.
