Handheld, drone-mounted, and wearable gimbals are always expensive because of the hardware and the technology that drives the gimbals to do what they do.
Good brands that I know are FeiYu Tech and Zhiyun.
You can opt for non-motorized stabilizers. Steadicam, the brand that does the same equipment for big Holliwood movies, makes great consumer level stabilizers that aren't too expensive. Check them out on google.

This is what I use with my SJ7, fits like a glove and works great and not too expensive. http://amzn.to/2tYAAJy

Me too, Im planning to buy Zhiyun Smooth-Q or FeiyuTech SPG. However, upon reading on reviews/groups/forums Zhiyun Smooth-Q seems to be more prone to burning the motors and has battery problems that's why I may be looking more into FeiyuTech SPG. All the users of gimbals here in this forum if you have any suggestions and advice, I would greatly appreciate it.

I know that the best gimbal for this is the DJI Osmo Mobile. Unfortunately, Im on a budget. So I cant afford the price of DJI.

The best I have seen so far is the EVO GP PRO but it's $299 sometimes $279 but the Feiyu Tech G4 QD gimbal I have I got for $135 and has still been working great although the EVO is a better all around gimbal when comparing the 2.

Because it fits multiple cameras, my SJ4000 WiFi, SJ5000x Elite, and SJ6 Legend, I have to put in a vote for the Feiyu Tech G4 QD.

I am sure there are "better" gimbals out there, but this one really works for me!

Not sure about the SJ7, but the SJ6 Legend Gyro Stabilization almost makes the gimbal pointless, almost... not quite, but almost...

I think the new DJI Osmo Mobile 3 is pretty nice. It is so much enhanced in its appearance and there are a lot of impressive new features be brought in. The most important is that it is affordable and portable. Anyway, it is a good gimbal choice for beginners.
