There's nothing to be fixed. It's a limitation of the file system used.
I believe you have 2 different issues. The tearing issue isn't present in daylight. The picture is really blurry either way though.
Can you take a picture outside and see if the tearing issue is still present.
I'm guessing so, the SJ8 doesn't have one either.
New cameras don't have the port due to their licence running out.
Yes camera off shows no animation. Screen off also shows no animation. The led is lit during charge and off when fully charged.

There's obviously something wrong with your camera. There's no issue with WiFi being switched on or off via the top button. Also app works fine...

I'd say it's your phone. I can connect to my iPhone using 5 ghz without issue.
